Prepress

We have optimised with the best technology the pre-press flow and the approval to print of proofs even online.

Mediagraf prepress technology

The workflow is based on Workflow Esko Artwork technology, complete of all editorial and commercial working modules. Working stations have both Macintosh and Windows operating system, with most common application software always up to date.

Pdf files are monitored and managed when entered with  Enfocus software Colorbox.

A detailed pre-flight analyses pdf characteristics and corrects it according to specifications needed fot the product realization. A special app which generates the pdf and sends it directly to our imposition system is available for the customer to use. The client is, in case of problems, immediately notified through a system which tracks all carried out operations.

The file transfer occurs through ftp server with optical fibre.

In case of original copies, the transfer occurs through high definition scanners.

Plates production and treatment is handled by 2 KODAK CREO autonomous lines and is completely atomated with punching machines and preset system for printing machines based on CIP3 protocol.

An optimised colour proof test, with personalised profiles, is made per each order per each printing unit.

Online proofs approval to print

The possibility to remotely approve proofs printing optimises lead-times, whilst the creation of colour profiles allows a correct chromatic reproduction of printings. This can all be easily done, by simply connecting to the link which the customer will receive via email ad each publication of his order.

Mediagraf technicians are able to suggest hardware and software solutions for graphical-editorial systems and for connections with the press centre, completing the service with employees training.
